I patched waders useing intertube patches from NAPA.A pilot I know patches his waders with aircraft de-ice boot patches its the aircraft version of intertube patches but allot larger (3"x5")Had BOGG rubber boots, a 2" v-shape tear on the side the instep.3 dental floss stiches to hold the tear closed, used gorilla glue, its ugley but effective.I found my tubeless tire glue was bad, so substituted Gorilla Glue on tubeless ATV tires plug patches.Patched leak's on vintage LaCross steel Toe PackBoot's useing 3-M 5200 Boat Hull Sealant, this stuff is great but takes a 3-6 days to get a good crust on it.I doped up my boots and set them in the boiler room for a week to cure-like new these day's.

I keep a couple of old inner tubes around to make patches out off and my favorite adhesive for rubber and a lot of other things is "Goop". Been using it for 10 or 15 years now and have even sealed cracks in a concrete slab with it.
