Jim: IMHO, I would go with the "Armed & Female". Paxton is a very good writer in that she gets a very clear point across with a minimum of prose. When I was teaching CCW classes I recommended anything she wrote to everyone in the class, not just to the women.

But, with that said, I would get your daughter started on Paxton's writing and urge her to read everything she wrote. Then your daughter should start on Mas Ayoob's writings and do the same thing. .......... Big Cholla

Thanks, Peg will turn 21 next year, and she wants to get her CCW. I'm trying to give her a head start. I've tried to teach her to be aware of her surroundings and to take herself out of harms way, if at all possible. Any other advice will be welcome.
