Problem !!!!!

Discussion in 'The Powder Keg' started by Riccardo, May 31, 2002.

  1. Ciao, I have a springfield 1861 made by Pedersoli, last weekend I used some new style minie ball, after some shoot i realised that half of the bullet remaining inside the chamber. Seam that the front of the bullet have been shoot and the second half remain in the chamber. I think that the cause of this is becouse the new style minie are a little thiner on the back side then the classic one, I used 60 grains of FFF. The problem is, how I can take out this half ball , immagine a lead ring just in front of the chamber. anybody had the same experience ? please let me know, Thanks ciao Riccardo
  2. Problem resolved !, there was 4 half bullet insede the barrell ! wiht this new style minie we have to stay very low with the powder charge.
I used pure lead for make them is this correct ? Ciao Riccardo
