  8. We're still munching on lasagna. I'm going to cut it up in 2 person servings, run it through the food saver and toss it in the freezer tomorrow. That way we'll be able to enjoy it in the fall.

    can i ask what is used for the rub? is it your own recipie or a store bought kind?

    4 parts sea salt
    4 parts garlic powder
    4 parts onion powder
    4 parts brown sugar
    1 part mustard powder
    1 part paprika
    1 part chili powder
    1 part cumin

    HW- would that rub work on beef, too? Or, would you change some stuff around?

    For beef I would use
    4 parts salt
    4 parts garlic powder
    4 parts onion powder
    2 parts white sugar
    2 parts black pepper
    1 part mustard powder
    1 part coriander powder
