just finished shooting my M-95 with 100gr pistol bullets.
Factory ammo has just too much recoil. I loaded up 10 cases of 8x56KR the 100 gr bullet and 10.5 grs of unique. actually they shot fine and were fairly accurate. Went to 14 gr of unique and then to 16 grs. I think 16 gr;s is over the top of the accuracy curve.
15 and 17 gr's of accurate #5 were good loads.
IMR3031 at 24 gr's will get you some hot air in the face.
20 gr's of 1680 will get you a lot of hot air in the face. I wouldn't shoot the 22 gr.s of 1680 that i had.
The first round in each clip wouldn't feed into the chamber. I had to cose it in.
This can work for a plinker. but the best I could do today was about four to five inches today at fifty yds.
Son was in my eyes and I jsut can't see very well at fifty yds anymore
What is needed is a longer nosed bullet. weight doesn't matter. A 150 spire point would be ideal.

How do you seat the short bullet in the case of 8X 56R ? . Half of my brass will not hold the bullet if I seat them little too deep but if I not seat them deep enough the bullet would fall off and spill powder everywhere. Is there a trick you can tell me ?
