i just did some math and this is what it cost me for 1000 rnds. of 230 gr. lrn 45acp ammo.
    $127.04
not counting my time of course.

the time factor will go down once i get my new press.

That's a huge cost savings...and a good way (hobby) for spending your leisure time.

The same logic (cost savings and fun activity) justifies my reloading "hobby"...

it will take a little while for the cost of the new press to get eaten by the reloading savings.
    $550

And that "little while" will go by faster than you think...especially with the amount of ammo you, and I, shoot...

I just bought the ingredients to reload 1,800 .44 mag and special rounds with, and will get right to it as soon as I finish up a 7mm RSAM reloading project.

Then, it's on to the 30-06 reloading we talked about earlier.

    It's an ongoing hobby here...

  8. I used to load a lot of 44magnum and i was loading 1000 rounds for $180 or 18cents each.

Well Billy, I figured you for a zombie hunter, and a zombie hunter needs bullets...lots of bullets. Now, from Toolman's comment, I know which zombies you're after...
