Hi I have a Remington 30.6, short barrel, woodsmaster 742 carbine rifle. It has a leather strap, a bushwell sportsview scope, and also comes with a camo case. It is in perfect condition. only been shot a few times. I was just wondering how much a gun like this is worth. And if anybody is interested. Please email me at [email protected] [/B]if you have an answer or are interested. thanks

If the gun is in really good condition, you could probably get over $400. They look like nice rifles...at least as long as Remington changed things since the 7400.

They are nice rifles and my 742 is very accurate. The 7400 bolt has fewer locking lugs than the 742 yet the 7400 lugs are much bigger and stronger.
To me the 30-06 caliber in these rifles are the LOUDEST guns I've ever heard go POW ! They are loud!
I would guess you might get $ 300.00 for it...A.H
