recently i got a remington 870 express from a friend at a decent price... it had been taken care of anad i was familiar with the gun, but now he is offering me a remington 870 nitro express and that im NOT so familiar with. id appreciate any info about it. im looking for price, how good it is, etc. basically all i know is its a 870 nitro express, 12 ga., and he wants $100 -- havent seen the gun yet, i check it over before actually paying for it. thanks in advance, appreciate it

A Rem 870 for $100 is a great deal no matter what model. It's an excellent gun. Even if it has the wrong barrel setup for your uses, adding the barrel of your choice would still end you up with a low total cost.

turns out he DID misread it.. i now own a 870 express magnum too XD rather amusing, my dad wants it and is attempting to buy it from me total of $160 got me an 870 express, and an 870 express magnum.... ya know those days when ya think the rest of the month is just gonna go goooooood
