carbine. most of the accuracy and power of a rifle. submachine guns are too low power and inaccurate.

low power and inaccurate??? Man I got a Cobray PM-11 in 9mm and I get groups of only 4-6" at almost 15 yards.... :) But got to admit they are a blast to shoot if you aint paying for the ammo.

7.62x39mm rifles will serve in many situations. 308 rifles will serve almost all of them. I'm better with them than any pistol caliber weapon I've ever tried.

  6. If you ever spent any time with a subgun, yoiu would never have asked this question. Let's put it this way: if I had to have someone shooting at me, I'd rather it be a subgun than a rifle or carbine.
