if your comfortable enough to take the trigger housing apart you can either buy / or modify your existing bolt release so that with the bolt already locked back all you have to do to release the bolt is pull back on the bolt handle and let go.
Ruger 10/22 slide release problem
Hi!
I have a standard LR 10/22 that has a problem from right out of the box. I didn't know at the time if it was me but I've come to realize it ain't! The bolt slide won't release when I depress the trigger guard latch. It seems to have a mind of its own, generally I have to pull the magazine out before I can get it to close?????Most of the time I have no idea what I do to get it to close!!!Do I have to return it to the factory, or can you give me some hint how to fix this??
