Ruger P95 Pistol

I currently have the subject pistol and no where in the book that
came with it does it say anything about dry firing. I know you are
not supposed to dry fire most pistols, but mine has the manual
safety that releases the hammer when it is put on safe and it doesn't hurt the firing pin because it never makes contact. This is not true from what I understand and the firing pin is contacted if the trigger is pulled to release the hammer while dry firing. I am
going to invest in some Snap Caps, but just wondered if I really need them. Any suggestions?

I ALWAYS PLAY WITH MINE TO NO ADVERSE EFFECT. GET SNAP CAPS IF IT MAKES YA FEEL BETTER. THEIR CHEAP AND WILL GIVE YA PIECE OF MIND IF YOUR WORRIED ABOUT IT.
