I have MarkII and a Mini14. Both say, "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty" on their respective receivers. OK, this was the year I was born.. My Modern Gun Values book lists the Mini14 as having a higher value than other pre-ban Mini's due to the significance of the statement written on the receiver. It doesn't say anything about the MarkII though...... Any ideas why. Were these a limited production or did Ruger stamp all of their 1976 productions with this phrase?
