    Yaahoo! Mountain Dew!

I'm going to have to try and get our local Alcohol Beverage Control outlet to get some when it's available. I want to "pickle" some peaches LOL!

If it has rust in the bottle or the jug, it's moonshine to me! LOL!

The Baldwin sisters would be proud. "Just a touch of the Recipe".

  7. oh, i should be so thankful for the government letting its citizens do legally now what should have always been legal

i like government out of my life as much as possible thank you, and that extends to what i produce, grow, or do at my home or property. and that should go for every tax paying, land owning citizen

  8. thats cause folks dont use a copper still. i always run moonshine through a handkerchief just in case

The last bottle of moonshine I got was when I was stationed in Charleston, SC....... It sure was smooth, but your belly thought you had eaten fire! LOL! You could have used that stuff to start charcoal in a grill!!!!!!!

I got some oncet and dropped some activated charcoal used in fish tank filters in it and let it set for a year. Sa-m-o-o-o-oth!

"Oh, they call it that old mountan dew,
And them that refuse it are few.
I'll hush up my mug if you'll fill up my jug
With that good old mountain dew."

if youve got to filter it through carbon and wait a year, you got ahold of bad shine.

  15. One thing to consider -

100 proof will still be a pretty good whack to the taste buds ha-ha.

it all depends on what flavor you want!!! me personally I take mine and put some apple juice in it with 2 cinnamon sticks, it tastes just like apple pie after a week or so ( this recipe is for 1 quart)

yes... it depends on the length of the fermentation of the mash(and sugar content).100 proof was prolly made rather quick.

    not that i would know!
