Looking at a Sako Finnbear 7mm magnum, L61R. Serial number 52453. Has "Firearms int'l corp wash DC" on bottom of the barrel. IS this an early rifle, pre-garcia?
Has L61R stamped before serial number and Finnbear with 7mm Magnum on barrel.
What would it's value be in 95%+ condition?

Thanks

Your Sako was manufactured in 1970 and is a pre Garcia rifle. I would estimate at 95% with a pristine bore it should fetch 1K easily. The 7 Mag was a very popular rifle back in the day and Sako made over 50 thousand of them.

Necro thread. Interesting though.
A friend recently bought a 95% Sako Finnbear in .25-06. I don't know how early it is, but it's a sweet little rifle.
