I think I saw a Savage Favorite .22 LR at a Wal-Mart the other day. It was a falling block, short rifle. Or was my eyes fooling me? Are they making that rifle again?

I have had the Favorite 30G for about a year or so. It is one of my favorites. Pun intended. They seem to now make it in the mag., but it hasn't been shipping. Usual delays I guess. They show it on their web site. I asked my dealer and he called a distributor. Distributor said they hadn't received any.

The 30G is light and easy to carry around in the woods. I shot mine yesterday and it groups well. Old eyes didn't help much. How much was Walley-World charging? I was told the mag. will wholesale for $175, retail somewhere around $200+.
