I want to put a scope on a Winchester model 94AE .45 Trapper
Less favoured option is to fit a forward mounted scope base to use with a scout scope
Preferred option is to use a conventional eye relief scope ideally with weaver style bases.
I would appreciate feedback from anyone with this setup.
Who makes bases /how are they fitted?

With ejection out of the top of the reciever I don't think there is a set up like you want. On the other hand you could go to a Williams peep sight to help shooting accuracy.

Winchester is an AE ie angle eject.
I believe the weaver bases may be #94 & #95.
Want some feedback from anyone who has used this setup.

My question would be,,,Why. It a nice rifle the way it is and needs no help. Made to shoot fast so the scope will slow you down.
