I'm serious man! I was headed over to get a shot-glass of gas for the truck. My Wife, The Chief of Smoke, called and said she was home early. This allowed me to stay outside and play some more.
Now, PURELY by coincedence, there's a Gun Shop nearby. So I goes in see. And he has 5 new Mosins see! 2 are Tula 91/30's, and **** if one ain't an Ex-Sniper! A quick inspection and I am pulling out the cash. I have $123, perfect! I walk out with a new Mosin and have enough for a shot glass of fuel AND a sodie-water! Life is good...

  9. Congrats Steve. Youse guys find all the gud uns. Did you look inside the action to figgure out it was an ex sniper?

Steve, Steve, Steve. If you had haggled on that price you may have been able to buy two shot glasses of fuel.:09:

    Congrats! Please post pics!

Cap'n- It had the cn sniper markings, the cutout on the stock for the PU mount had been repaired/spliced, and yes I looked in the receiver just to be sure. There are Tula Snipers without the cn or CH stamping, and it could of just been a 91/30 in an old repaired Sniper stock. The plugged receiver sealed the deal.

Tex- I can live without the fuel, LOL!

  12. If there is no room in your gun safe for it and you need to make room...?
