shapes of different smokeless propellants

    is there a table somewhere so i can find out the shapes of different brands of propellants?
    i want to buy large amounts of powder and need to know what shape it is so i will know how it will meter.

    what do you think of AA#7 for 45acp?
    i can get it for $10 a lb.
    and will it meter worth a darn with that dillon?

    look for that on the accurate arms web site bet it is a ball powder as almost every one of aa's powders are ball. a few are stick.
    10.00 an lb i would stick it in something 45 or 454 or somethin.

    AA-7 is a ball,flake powder and meters well.With a 230gr bullet,10.3gr,s will give you about 850fps.At that price I would definitly use it.I would think it is a little too fast for .454 as someone suggested,but might work in the .45(LC)Colt starting at 11.5gr with a 250gr bullet at about 700fps.Thats what I have on an old record in a 4.5" barrel.I couldnt have used it much as I have used unique in .45,s for years. sam.
