I have been doing great with my new 27. One question i have gotten into the habit of using my other hand to grip the front of the trigger guard with my index finger to help hold her down when firing. It really seems to help and i tried it after noticing the little serations on the front of the trigger guard. Is this a good practice it really directs allot of the recoil to the shooting hand between the index and thumb, but feels comfy and steady??
Also because the 27 is so compact the muzzle blast and report on the .40 caliber is really noticeable. any help is appreciated.

  2. Thats what its there for. They put it there for just the purpose.
not much you can do about the noise the blast you could try and down load the orunds that might help some, but with a 27 you kinda get what you get.
