I seem to have a problem with my sks.. it used to operate fine (romanian 56) then i bought a Romanian SAR 1, so ive been having fun with that recently but i pulled out the sks the other day, loaded it, pulled the trigger, it went click, but no boom? i removed the shell to see a struck primer. i tested my ammo on the ak right then and there and it went of flawlessly. what part do i need to replace or what can i do?

I'd strip it down and clean it with a solvent first. Remove the trigger block and take a close look at that, making sure no gunk has formed. The firing pin may also be gunked up.

If it still doesn't work, I'd take it do a gun smith.

Did you try more than 1 shot? It's possible that you had a dud piece of ammo there.
