SSG 69 PIV .308

    Anyone have any experience at all with one of these?

    nope, but if it was around 1-K I'd sure take a chance on it.
    I bet its 3 times that [shrug]
    but it's built to shoot off a bench.

    The PIV is built for the field, and has a shortened threaded barrel to facilitate a suppressor.
    I have a PI, which has a 25 inch barrel medium weight barrel.
    I have no formal training, and I can shoot sub-MOA with it, and the old Burris scope on it.
    There are fancier rifles, built by McMillan and SAKO, and Accuracy International, but the SSG69 is almost 50 years old, and still the original factory marksman's rifle and can hold its own.

    that square forearm and flat stock bottom along with the small ejection window says bench/prone off a rest shooter.
