Nedd a little help folks. My neighbor came by last night with a Star .32 semi auto he resently aquired. We are trying to find out more info such as the year made and origin. From what I have found, I believe it is a model 1914. The number on the back of the mag well is 38143. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

I ask, because I believe the 1919 it dissasemled a little differently than the 1914.

At first glance I thought it was a 1914, however after taking a closer look it does infact look like a 1919.

Now with what the site says many refer to it in the .32ACP caliber while some refer to it only in .25ACP, but it isn't clear as to what all calibers this model was made in it seems.

However I do believe you have a Model 1919 and not a Model 1914 as previously stated.
