C'mon. Is that the best picture they can come up with? Didn't they ever hear of Photoshop?

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we had prehistoric creatures living in our oceans.

We know more about the moon than we do about our own oceans. The crushing depths have been almost impossible to explore, so there's lots of room out there for other creatures. I too thought Griz had been caught on camera taking a dip in the nice spring sea! LOL! Actually, I'm pretty much a believer that there are things in the deeps that we know nothing about, and maybe someday we'll have the technology to delve deeper into the depths of ouroceans.

I'd like to believe that the natural world still holds some surprises for us. But one argument from the article cast doubt on the rest.

"It must be a mammal or a reptile, since it oscillates up and down in a vertical plain, which eliminates sideways-oscillating fish," he explained.

Manta's, and other rays, swim in this fashion and have been seen in linear 'convoys'. I'm not saying that is what the vid captured, but its not impossible.
Waves oscillate up and down too, almost any linear flotsam would have appeared to be swimming.

Yes, this is most definitely evidence of an endangered species, it is a prime example of the elusive fuzzy, indistinct, purposely slightly out of focus monster photograph. They are getting scarcer these days with the advent of digital technology. It has been theorized that they have nearly been debunked completely out of existance. It truly is a priviledge to actually get a glimpse of one on this thread. Fascinating.

It appears to be Bigfoot dressed up as a mysterious marine creature.

That's what I was thinking after I read the description of the thing. Surely could be one of us lurking around the area.

Bigfoot, I hate to be the one to point it out to you, but baby chickens can't swim! And for that matter, adult chickens don't swim worth a darn! LOL! Just one question, though. What in the world were you using for bait? Hmmmmmm, could it have been worms? LMAO!!!
