I have been playing with suppressers in 22 and 36 cal for a few years. I have read and tried several liquids for that silent first shot. In 22 mine are Hollywood quiet, literally so I use nothing in them. Today I was shooting a 300 Blk pistol with a 10.5 inch barrel. Pretty decent with Remington factory 220 grain ammo. I was told to try shaving jell and tried some and it seemed to work ok for a few rounds. Problem is it blows back and while water soluble is still a little messy and only a small amount gets into the front of the device. I guess I need something with a straw or tube to get it to the back of the suppressor.

Anybody have any favorite suppressor fuel? My interest is coyotes at the shorter ranges, when they come in pairs or more it matters. Hogs are also an occasional target and I have had two dozen come by at once. Any suggestions are welcome.
