Of course. I can even cook if necessary.
Growing up I remember there being a Tote Goat frame out on the scrap metal heap behind Dad's shop
I just got home from the neighbors Memorial Day BBQ. We had roasted bear tenderloin and heart. Absolutely wonderful! It was a lot of fun.
I had one brother over and a neighbor. My son is here also. I cooked plenty of food on the grill. I had fresh made hamburgers, several rack of ribs, two ham steaks, seasoned rice and baked potatoes. My neighbor brought over brats, Hot dogs, and boneless chicken breasts. My brother made a dish of Crab Imperial. Had plenty of adult drinks and ice water too. We all ate enough for all week. I have left overs too.
took the boat out for a trial run before heading out for a weeks fishing here in like 5 days.
I need a new battery for the trolling motor, but the old one eeeked out a few hours and we got a few fish.
I even got to see/hear ''the fish by the mountain'' song by the G-boy when he got his first fish today.
I couldn't hear anything for 5 minutes after the last high note he threw in there, but the rest of the song wasn't so bad.
went out yesterday and bought a set of scope rings. I have a 3-9x scope laying around and a base that fits my 10-22. Going to try my hand at scoping the Ruger. Old boy at Cabela's looked kind of funny when I showed him the scope ( I took it with me to make sure I got the right rings) and told him what I was putting it on. Scope was a freebie I acquired a bunch of years back, so I figured it was worth a try. Now I just have to get it installed and hope my local range opens soon.
Not HIS job.
Watching the Noatak river ice pass by

Pan ice rammed up on shore on the upstream side of town.
Some ice rash on some shore side structures.
I'm hoping to watch the race in Charlotte tonight but I've got my doubts. It's been raining almost all day and I don't think it's going to happen.
EDIT: I was right. Postponed until tomorrow night at 7:00...sigh
Gotta go get the smoker rolling soon. Doing two pork shoulders and three racks of ribs. Most of it will get vacuum packed and go in the freezer.
My work mate took me for a walk before the rain started again.
got a couple of summer squash out of the green house today.
I normally don't even put stuff in the ground till mid June so I'm pretty happy about that.
Ribs are my favorite!
I've got ribs headed for the smoker as well.
But first I need to go spend money at Alaska Industrial Hardware. I need about 20 more feet of gas hose to make fueling the 180 easier and I want to switch out the wiring to 10 gauge from 12.
I'm legal!! Texas' Dept. Of Public Safety has answered my inquiry & only took 7 business days! They've extended driver's license expiration dates if they expired since the "state of emergency" declaration in March (mine is May), until 60 days after the "emergency" is declared over.
Offices are tentatively scheduled to start opening 6-3-20, barring further developments & we can start calling for appointments today, for me, it'll hafta be Monday as I just read the email & they are closed.
I am going out kayak fishing tomorrow. Everything is all loaded up and ready. Crappies and bluegills are in my sights.
Just finished a late supper of odds and ends-
Couple links of mild Italian sausage,
a small sirloin starting to show freezer burn, what was left of a bag of egg noodles and about 1/2 a jar of salsa verde.
Gotta say, it was surprisingly good.
That sausage and salsa verde made a perfect combination.
Ice rammage pushed a barge tug further into the boat yard.
Not clear as yet what damage was done to her props and rudders.
Ice smashed in a salmon processing plant.
Note Smashed in a orange color sea-van, kinked in like a beer can.
Notice how the Ice shoved gravel up onto the shore?
Just finished my last chore of the day. I vacuum packed 8.25 of pulled pork, 2 racks of ribs, and 8.5 pounds of chicken breasts - 5 chicken breasts. I think the chicken breasts came from Chernobyl chickens.
meah, you'll just notice your voice getting higher and higher with each bite.
