Recently got in one of my industry trade magazines & found an interesting article.

They go into detail about the Mfg. process of thermal deburing bolts and flash hiders of M-16's. In short, in a chamber under 250 tons of pressure gas and oxygen are ignited to 3000F ~ 6000F depending on the material. All metalic contaminants and burrs are then vaporized in the process.

They also touch on Electrolytic rifling and deburing for SIG. I looked up the web site. A person can select articles from here. However they run a month behind, so I'd look for this Oct write up in Nov. they can be found at www.cleantechcentral.com Go to article search and input "Shoot Sharp" Worth reading over a cup of coffee.:full:
