Hi All, I have 2 muskets the first being a 3 band in what appears to be 0.69 calibre and looks identical to a tower musket I have. The problem is there are no stamps between the hammer and trigger.
There are stamps on the barrel which are shown in the photographs and I believe read APX-1751-EX-73
On top of the barrel is what looks like Arabic symbols also shown in the photographs.
Can anyone please help to tell me what this musket is and possible date of manufacture? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is a rough copy of a British Pattern 1853 Rifle-Musket, or more likely the P1858 Native Service Musket. The latter being a .656 caliber smoothbore version of the former, equipped with a simple block type rear sight. I am not sure what the writing on the top of the barrel is, but the stamped markings on the side of the breech are semi-modern Indian proofs.
