It is of a P.W. Porter turret rifle, and the first I've seen in the wild. It looks like all you are missing is the lever. The Porter Patent is 1851.

Nice! I have only seen a few pics of these before. I am wondering if a lever can be made. There are a few places that make obsolete gun parts.

A good fabricator or welder could probably make a modern lever work. The part that would be hard to make is still there.
