I recently acquired a box full of M1 carbine parts and stuff and in it was a cast Aluminum "Tommy Gun" stock for an M1 Carbine. It has 2 pistol grips and no buttstock and is stamped "Commando Mark =" and "Patent Pending".
Also has a ventilated handguard that is not a standard one and A G.I. Sling.
Anyone have a clue as to manufacterer and value ???? and yes, I have been all over the net to No Avail.

Commando Arms is also know as CA Inc. They are out of Knoxville Tenn. They made the cast aluminum stock both with and without the shoulder stock (thompson style). These were sold as kits. The stocks have a "crinkle" type paint job. I believe the only color I've ever seen is a very dark charcoal. They had a special long trigger pin with the set.
They also manufactured a cuple of other carbine stocks including a wooden "paratroop" stock with a collapsable wire shoulder stock section.

Not really. They were never very popular. If I had to guess, I'd say probably around $50 or so. I see them from time to time, and they aren't very good sellers.

Thanks Jimb2 !
I have a strange pistol grip stock (wood) as well and a couple M2 stocks,so as soon as I can find a new Receiver to replace this Underwood that split and blew apart, I will rebuild it and figure out which configuration to put it in then.
Not many available carbines or junkers around Alaska at least in my area....But I do find some weird stuff !

Talk about lousey timing! I just sold an Inland receiver two weeks ago. And I just finished selling off the rest of the parts two days ago. Sounds like you just can't win.
