a friend at work has a Colt nickel plated .25ACP with real mother of pearl grips. It has the date january 28, 1910 on it. It also has patent 1903 on it. Was the finish and grips a factory option back then ? He likes the heck out of it because it belonged to his granddad :target:

YOU'RE CORRECT DANA. I ANSWERED A SIMILIAR POST OVER A YEAR AGO ABOUT THE SAME TYPE GUN IN .32AUTO. IT WAS BETWEEN SIX HUNDRED AND SEVEN IF I RECALL.
