Got my heart set on a PSL next. WHew boy this hobby is getting expensive.
You going to look for a real one or one of the civilian imports?
If a real one, yep it's going to get real expensive!
I am looking at the 600-800 dollar ones SOOOO i am guessing the civilian import something about a 3rd hole and machine gun blah blah blah
Trying to find out which ones are the best right now.
Definitely talk to the aptly named 'PSLMAN'
As easy as it is to buy a premade PSL I'd probably build a saiganov first.
PSLs were never made full auto...
My understanding is that the original military imports to the united states had a 3rd pin hole welded shut but that it was still labeled under the law as a machine gun.

A rifle with this extra hole has been deemed to be a machinegun, regardless if it has the internal parts for full-auto fire. "[/FONT]

Make certain it's light ball, 147-150 grain. Everything I've ever read says the heavy ball will eventually lead to parts breakage.
