Harrington & Richardson was formed in 1871, I believe.
When they made their 125th Anniversary Commemorative 45-70 rifle, they called it Wesson & Harrington, instead of Harrington & Richardson .
    Anyone know why?

I believe the company was origonally formed by one of the Wesson's of Smith and Wesson fame, and Wesson sold his interest to Harrington, who then brought in Richardson as his partner. That partnership appears to have been pretty successful.
If anyone knows any better, please correct this.
