What do you guys think about....

    ....a knife forum.yak about knives,collecting , uses,and unlike guns, we can swap, buy, and sell directly with out the gummint getting involved.
    I don't know if it's been tried before and been a flop or not,just a thought, What do you think?

    I think a knife/bayonet forum would be nice.

    could try it, but don't count out the gummint they'll probably stick their noses in to it, in the name of "homeland security":nod:

    Don't count out the Govmint interference. In a lot of Knife catalogs, many are listed as not available to residents in California, Mass. and other places with strict "anti-crime" laws. Luckily, those of us in more free states can order what we want, but even that could change if the Liberals have their way.
    That being said, I'm all for a knife/bayonet forum.

  7. yeah a knife/bayonet forum would be pretty cool, especialy since i need a bayonet for my Steyr M95 carbine!

    Sounds good to me too. I've wondered before why there wasn't one already because I've got a question: Does a gut hook help or make it easier to field dress deer? I use a Gerber drop point now, but have contemplated the gut hook for a year or two.

    I always figured a gut hook was better to use to pick-up a hot pot by the handle with.

    My deceased Father in Law was a knife maker. I would love the forum. I could post some pics of his knives. They simply wow me to this day........
