Gdawg, I've got a Fobus(Isreali) for my S&W compact that retains the pistol by pressure, and a bianchi that retains with a thumb-release strap. The fobus is faster on the draw, but the bianchi is more comfy. If you can find a way to try one(a friend) or two without buying, you won't end up holster poor, like me. I've got three for my S&W, Three for my 1911, and three for my D. Wesson 44mag.,etc. I've got an 81mm mortar rd. case full of clothing for my handguns, and hardly use any of it these days. See if you can't find a friend or two, and try a couple different styles. Scotty
