Newly acquired Sog Trident AT/XR in OD green with spring assist. Other times a Buck #249 folding Alpha hunter. Good choice on yours with quality steel. Giving me some fresh ideas. Looks nice and sturdy.

Yeah those Benchmade knives are tough to beat. Blade shape for different uses and steel mean a lot to me.

Ha!!! tell me about it. Been there lately. Trying to build a "quality not quantity" collection lately. Tough to try and stay at my under $100 limit these days but Buck and Sog do offer some decent quality for around that price range. just waitin in those new fixed blade versions of the Sog aegis and Trident along with a Benchmade maybe. Hey Father's Day is coming so maybe.

Cool story Wicked. Knives and cut thumbs go together like ham and eggs. Bet he just had to try the sharpness before he believed you.

Me like GS. often don't have to spend a fortune for a blade with super expensive steel. That CRKT looks tough enough and like tanto points for sticking ability. Try to keep mine choices under $`100 and the Sog Trident AT spring assist made a favorite EDC for me. D-2 steel not bad I read but can be tougher to sharpen. Now for the fixed blade FX if it ever comes out. Good lookin pig sticker with 4 inch blade and Kydex reversible belt clip for moly use also. Under $100 but Smokey Mountain usually sells under the rest.
