I know, it's European stuff but it's the best product around, only problem is...no US distributor now but I'm working on that one, enjoy!

I just use Kerosene. Works pretty good as long as I don't light a cigar.

  7. I use Ed's Red too. Girls love it.
    Smells better than Hoppe's.
    Kicks the carbon, copper issue.
I use foaming bore cleaner next.
    Then Red's to clean, again.
Polymer wax next. Tons more black.
Red's and then Hoppes elite oil.
I use the new orange rubber squeegees.
Forces it through the rifling. Phew!

I tend to stick with what works for me ("Shooter's Choice", engine starting fluid aerosol, and 0W-20W synthetic motor oil). I am not opposed to new things if they work, that's how I got to using what I do.
Cost is not so big a factor if a product truly is as good as claimed. But it has to be available locally. I don't want to pay a hazmat shipping fee.

Check that video clip at the right of that website start screen to understand what I mean.
It's made in Italy and pretty much around in Europe but they forgot the US.

Sorry, not impressed. The video shows nothing more than a guy running a patch impregnated with cleaning solvent, apparently...I had no sound with the vid so only his hair-dresser knows for sure.

I'll, kindly, continue my old routine of bore brush and cleaner.

Other than that...never heard of it.

Ditto here. I didn't see anything that convinces me that is any better than what I use already.

I find it interesting that you guys stick into your old habits and not willing to accept an innovation. I'm not even a shooter and do see the differences, now it's up to you.
A US and Canada distributor I arranged LOL

    Guisan,
We simply use what we know works, through years of trial and error. But, most of us are open to new products that WORK.
For that reason, I long ago gave up on Hoppes, finding it deficient, and went to other better gun cleaning "snake oils". I have my favorites, as other guys do.
I've also tried different brands of patches, rods and the much-lauded 'Bore Snake' - I keep going back to the tried&true cut-up T-shirt and aluminum rod with slotted tip - it works for ME......

Your product may work well. But it has to be available..... meaning it has to be in WalMart and similar popular stores, to be truly successful. Few shooters, proportionately, order cleaning supplies online.

I find it interesting that you seem to have placed yourself in a position to choose for us what products we should use or not use. Not everything "new" is better than what has been "tried, and found to be true" Arrange to send out samples to our membership upon request, and some may well give it a try.

Your opinion of your product is still just your opinion, and not necessarily fact. Your condescending attitude to our/my reaction, leads me to suggest that you cater to your proposed customers, instead of portraying yourself as a narcissist.

"...not even a shooter" ? Wow, that's a terriffic selling point. That in itself makes me want to rush right out and buy some. Wait.... no it doesn't....
