This is why I bought an 870 instead of a 500. If I want expansion, I just get a tube extender. Brett, you're stuck. Sorry dude.

I have a 1300 defender and a 500 slugster. both are good guns. The 1300 seems nicer the 500 seems more rugged.

Not sure what you mean by "Tactical", I have a Winchester M1200 with M4 stock 6 shell holder, heat shield and an 18 in bbl. It works great for close range (duh right?) Med. range and some longer range shots with the right load. I've even used it a few time to blast some clay pigeons ( I was surprised how well that worked ). Just curious since seems like everyone has their own idea of what "tactical" is.

If your fellow mall ninjas get wood when you pull it out of the case, it's tactical!
