    :fuss:
  2. 7mm Rem mag. Why?--Takes anything in the good old U.S.A.--22 long rifle--small game -- tastes like chicken.

Ah, til poll do us part. I have a bunch of favorite calibers, depending on what type of gun:

12 guage-I believe the most versatile 'bird' round
7mm (MAUSER) not magnum: you should shoot one of these, people don't know what they are missing...and you can load them up HOT!
    .45ACP-no questions there.
Of course, my choice for making a long distance call is .300 Win Mag.

Heck, I give favorite caliber is one that fits into one of my guns. Good Shooting!

    .22 LR - Plinking
    .223 varmint and target
6x45mm I just wanted it and it took my first buck
.32-40 WCF - I like shooting some history and its a good deer cal.
.33 WCF -- is that sucker fun
.308 Win - when I want the ultimate in precision 1000yard shooter
7.62x54R - Again just another really good shooter out to a 1000yard shooter
    8mm plinking fun
45-70Win - another good piece of history
.375 H&H Mag - all I can say is OUCH after 40 rounds but its so much fun I haven't found anything over 1400 to try yet but its a hit every time

    .357 Mag - defense purposes
    9mm - defense and plinking
45ACP - defense and great target cal
.22LR - good plinker at low cost

Those are just a few -- next week I might have another favorite added
