Don’t you buy no ugly gun!
There is no ugly gun....some just ain’t as purty as others.
That looks like some took a Beretta 92 and used a welder to make some "improvements" I kinda like it.
Never saw one of those before. The grip angle looks steeper than I'd like, but I'd want to run a couple of magazines through it before deciding.
Beretta 92 and a Remington old army had a baby
You got the "hooker" gun.
So is mine but 5 spare mags help.
And don't give a D***
You know, with a different stock (maybe a little longer) that wouldn't look bad.
None of my guns are ugly!
"hey man your gun is UGLY! yea but she shore can shoot!" with apologies to Jimmy Soul.
The only ugly guns I ever saw were pointed at me in 73'.
My ugliest one has to be my 995 HighPoint carbine. It's not much in looks but it's great in accuracy & for the $135 I paid for it I got my moneys worth.
Hi-Point Carbines are reliable and accurate. I have one in .40 S&W. I shoot reloads in it dangerously close to a 10MM.
I was looking for one chambered in 10mm to hunt deer with but I guess the only made a few. I changed to the 350 Legend & don't want it anymore.
I see Hi-Point made a 10MM. Is it legal to hunt deer in Indiana with a 10MM? In Wyoming we carry the 10MM for a Bear Killer. They have deep penetration with hard cast bullets.
Post 'em up! I have GOT to see those.
They were going to be allowed on private land but I haven't looked into it since the Legend came out. I had been using AR pistol in .300 Blackout on public land for years & needed something with a little more punch.
This is the ugly gun thread but I liked your Classic Hi-Point 995, I had the same type stock, so swaped it into a ATI stock just so my booger hook finger could fit the larger trigger guard.
The HP 995 is very reliable and accurate.
While out shooting with my kids a pickuptruck load of guys showed up with a couple handguns and a SKS, the SKS guy was annoying (buzzed) and kept teasing my daughter, in the end they went head to head SKS vs. HP995.
She outshot hin at steel at 150 and 200 yds shot for shot (more mettalic clangs than his).
He was blaming his SKS the whole time.
9mm is a fun plinking round.
