maarten221 - No! The accuracy is pretty good for a battle rifle, but could not compare to an AR-15/M-16. Anytime you use the type sight that comes on them, you are giving up any accuracy you might get from a peep sight.
I have SKS's and they are a good all around rifle for just shooting, whether you are hunting pigs, deer, or varmits, or just shooting at various targets. They are quite simple and easy to maintain.
