I am trying to figure out the difference in the cartridges between the two 6mm BRs, the Norma and the Remington.
I will be using the Lapua cases. I know the flash holes are smaller in the Lapua, and you need narrow decapping pins. Does anyone know if the chamber dimensions in the rifle are the same for these two variants?
Some of the tools will be the same. Tell me if I am wrong, but I think the sizing dies will be the same for either of these. The shell holder should be the same size. The Lee Autoprime shellholders should be the same for either of the two.
I see the Lee Reloading Manual has pages of loads for the Remington variant of the 6BR. Can I use the same loads for the Lapua cases and the Norma BR variant?
Any feedback would be appreciated. The rifle will not be ready for pick-up for a few months yet, so I have time to pick up the dies and hardware that I will need.
