I'd go with the heaviest load you could for it. Seems people like the extra weight (and as fast a velocity as they can get) to help the slightly anemic cartridge out. Personally I carry a beretta 82 in .32 acp as a pocket gun when I am not in the mood to have something heavier on my waist. Like that gun and I am a proponent of the .32 acp. That little 82 holds 12+1 rounds and fits in my pocket. Speaking honestly I have no concerns when carrying that gun, it will do anything I will need it too.

Strangely enough, found some Privi Partisan at Academy Sports for $14.98...
downside, it was clearance, as they're no longer planning to carry .32acp

 

I had an Erma .22 Luger look-a-like. Never could get it to shoot a complete mag though. It was made mostly from pot metal and had a steel sleeve molded inside for a barrel. I gave it to my favorite gun store guy after the front sight fell out.

I have a couple of old .32 ACP pistols. Didn't have much luck getting my pistols to run with the Privi Partizan ammo I bought. The powder measuring in the Privi wasn't consistent at all, so I pulled two remaining boxes I had apart, tossed the powder and reloaded them with an accurate weight of Titegroup. White box Winchester ammo was okay.

Yep, the 22lr's were made with Zamak & a barrel insert.
Websites report that the .32 & .380 are all steel, I'll have to magnet-check that later.

 

As it turns out, the majority of the .32 is steel, but the grip housing is Zamak.
I find this acceptable

Although, after I get a mini-cnc robot, you can bet it'll be one of the first things I try to copy
so it will become all steel or at least billet aluminium

And does anyone else have a .32 or .380 Erma??
Kinda trying to figure out what holster to get...what Uncle Mike's size to order??

 

Finally got out to the range today, it is definitely a shooter!!
all but three in the bull or the 9 ring, three in the eight with
one of them on the 9-ring line.

Although it did have a few fail to ejects...it would throw most of them forward,
but occasionally stovepipe...I'm thinking a good polishing of internals
will be in order...although in part it might have had something to do with the
Over-oiling that the last owner did...even after a patch & q-tip wipedown,
was still finding oil drops everywhere during shooting, almost like there was an
oil bath in the action...so total field-strip, cleaning, and drying will be performed

And as it turns out, an Uncle Mike's size 4 w/ strap encloses it nicely.


Also had my Stoeger .22lr Luger with me for this run...it also (same previous owner)
was smothered in oil...I'd pull the mag out and the top inch would be wet...
it was having all sorts of trouble with .22lr High Velo ammo, I was using
RGB's and Federal, neither would reliably cycle the action, although they all fired.
So its a field strip, dry & polish for this one as well...
Although I'd bet that Hyper Velo would work, dunno how well it might tolerate it.

In a month I'll hit the range again and see how everything works after the clean & polish
