What is an expected group at 100 yds for a remington model 700?...i just bought an sps with a standard contour barrel in .308 for $300. Im going to get a leupold vx-1 for it with steel rings and rails. Some guy told me that i couldnt get less than 1 moa without spending more than 700-1000 bucks on a rifle...i knew he was wrong because ive done it before.but i just wanna know what to expect with this.Any grouping reports with other 700's is also greatly appreciated.i might do an upgrade someday

Once you get your good load at 100 yards, let 'er eat at longer distance.
Shot this with my 700 BDL, 308. 200 yards I keep threatening myself to get a scope upgrade. Currently using a Simmons 3x9x32.
The verticle group on the left is from my brother's Savage 243. Looks like I had a breathing issue going on with that group.
