Good luck...That ammo was last made in a batch by Navy Arms in 1990.
It was discontinued by Winchester in 1970...Old West Ammo Scrounger has been out of it for many years.
Expect to pay 25 -50 dollars a box or more if you luck up and find any.

 

too bad too... i've seen several real nice shooters recently in .22 automatic.... cheap!

I would look at obsolete ammunition manufacturers.

.22 Winchester Auto Ammo

I am in need of some 22 Winchester Automatic ammunition. I will pay good money to get some shells. We have one of the first guns made in this model and it is in working condition looks brand new! Condition is almost perfect. If you know where to locate some ammunition it would be greatly appreciated! I am only searching for 2 or 3 boxes of 50 rounds. This gun is in mint condition and has a serial number-377!! Depending on offer I might sell the gun.

I have a few boxes to sell. If you do your homework you will find they are very pricey when and if you find them. $50 on up to $200 depending on the collector status. I'm surprised that with new manufacturing tech, that there aren't more rimfire options opened up. It seems to me that making a rimfire cartridge takes at least one more manufacturing process out of the cost equation over a boxer primed cartridge.
